At the Sacred Fire Ceremony
Saturday morning started out with a bit of rain around 6:00am, but then it cleared up around 8:00am, just in time for our breakfast & coffee around the campfire. At 9:00am Chuck, Ingrid, his sister Miekie & brother In-law Burt came for the day. We took part in a Native Spirit Fire Ritual. A native lady, and her young assistant informed us about the native culture, She showed us different ceremonial materials and how they are used in a spirit fire ceremony, She then showed us how to perform the ceremony.
