High Rocks outing

18 brave souls braved bitterly cold winds Saturday, February 6 for a snowshoe hike to High Rocks over the west end of Elliot Lake. The snow was hard-packed and we had to contend with exposed rocks before reaching the lookout at High Rocks. The view of Elliot and Quimby Lakes made for a nice backdrop for our lunch stop; thereafter we followed animal tracks back to Pipeline Road to end our hike.
