Porridge lake outing report

We had a large group of 26 people walk the Porridge Lake South Shore Trail on a sunny, mild March 6. The snow was so hard that we didn't need snowshoes. We followed the trail that was recut last fall, checked out a lookout pad with the ski hill as the backdrop and swung around to the north shore where Gerry did a slide show for us - literally. (He should have gone to the ski hill across the road.) After a snack break on the shoreline, we finished our walk at Albert Street.
