Trail Clearing with Katimavic

Coureurs de Bois will be trail clearing on Sunday, 18th. April with the Katimavic group. Plan is to attack the south Banana Lake trail. Please join us at 65 Dieppe at 10am. if you feel like giving a hand.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year. Our members also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and cross country skiing.
