17 members joined me on a pleasant hike, on a cloudy day, into South Lake off the Dunlop Shores road. We saw the lake both from a beaver dam and a boat launch. Had lunch at a nearby campsite. This is a nice flat, easy walk, with fairly new-planted growth of jack pine and some about 20 years old. Lots of wolf scat but very few spores,
