We had a dozen people participate on a work party on May 20 to open the Cobre Lake Trail for the season. We split into two groups with one "six pack" doing the trail clockwise and the other doing it counter-clockwise. There were a few fallen trees to cut through, some brush to cut with the loppers and debris to toss aside, leading to a well-deserved lunch break at the lake. Places of interest include Belvedere Lookout, Tenfish Lake Beach and Blue Sky Mine. Pim Delfgou |
