I had eleven hearty souls show up on a mainly cloudy morning for an twelve km hike on the Spine Beach ski trail. The trail conditions were the wettest I have seen. One saving grace, the bug count was minimal until right near the end of the hike when the sun started
poking through and the temp started to climb. We had lunch at the Red Briffet look-out and signed the hiking log book. It was a good work out.
