I received a call this afternoon from Shaun at Katimivik. They would like to send a group on my July 20 hike. It sounds like we will need some help from the members here. He indicates that as many as 18 may atttend. Their van will transport as many as 7. Hikers will have to transport the balance - assuming that we have enough hikers. Under the circumstances, I guess a city trail with a fair sized open area for lunch would be best. I'm thinking of Lac Nor and the fire pit area at Sherriff Lake.
