August 7 outing to Rooster Rock
| Dear Phil: The Coureur de Bois Hiking Club ventured back to Stanrock Mine when Steve led eight people, this time to Rooster Rock. From the gate, we walked a loop in the road visiting two lookouts overlooking Quirke Lake, and then coming onto Rooster Rock where we had lunch with a "room with a view"; most of us feasting on blueberries for dessert.
