The COUREURS De BOIS annual Christmas Party has been set for Saturday, 18th. December in the clubhouse of the Deer Trail Curling Club on Hillside South. If you have sampled Maggie Sargents cooking in the past, you will know we can expect a great buffet meal.
Only problem we have is -
WE HAVE NO ONE TO RUN THE PARTY!!
We had 2 very willing volunteers in Charlotte and Al, but they are now unable to handle the job. You know how you sometimes, like, once in a lifetime, receive an offer to do something or go somewhere, that you can not refuse? Well, that's what has happened to them. I'll let them fill you in on that!
Most of the party details are already in place, date, meal selection etc.
WE NEED 2 ABLE VOLUNTEERS TO GET THE FUN TOGETHER!
There are many talented people in the club willing to offer help to the leaders. The file is full of ideas to make the event a fun filled evening. Last year we had a record over 60 that attended. It was a great evening.
If we do not have anyone willing to step up and take this on, there will be no party! People that have done the party in the past, need not apply, you've done your bit!
Please step up NOW, call any committee member and take this on. You'll have fun, guaranteed!
