Powerline near Strouth Lake, & Stanleigh Mine Site.

I lead 5 hikers & the new Katimvak leader (Jude.) up
towards Stanleigh Mine Site & Down to the trail along the powerline
high above Strouth Lake. The powerline runs east from Highway 108 across
from our club house at the bottom of TV Hill and up into the Stanleigh
mine site. A good area to see waterfowl, moose, deer, elk & last summer
I saw a bear in that area. Lunch was eaten on a hill overlooking the
flats of Strouth Lake & other grassy hills close by.
