October 9 Snowshoe Trail
Eighteen people began the Thanksgiving weekend with a hike Saturday, October 9 along the Snowshoe Trail, Serpent River where Panel Mine Road crosses the river. We followed a bush road to the back of the old Quirke Lake townsite, had lunch on the old railway between Quirke 1 and Quirke 2 Mines and returned via a trail along the river back to the road.
