Mississagi Park

The most glorious day imaginable for snowshoeing. Fresh snow, about a foot at least of the powdery stuff, fairly warm, no wind and moose tracks to follow. 20 people enjoyed this outing lead by Nickie and Gerry.
 Joie de vivre!
 Wow! That's a large group
Snow one home, reservation for how many?
We know where you're goin'!
 Picnic at the beach

Nature's snowman, er..snow person? Hang on, I'll check!

 Winter wonderland
 Semiwhite Creek
It's a long, long trail a'winding.......

We took the Semiwhite Creek trail from the entrance and had lunch at the beach. On the return, 7 took to the high road and plowed up the hill and back on the access road. The rest of us took the upper trail through the woods and back to the access road. Many of us enjoyed socialising afterwards - as if we hadn't on the trail! - at McD's for coffee and whatever. Who was it locked their keys in the car, I'll never tell?! (First name began with J & S!) Thx to John & Claudette for the pics.
