As mentioned at the General Meeting last Tuesday, Hike Ontario have selected Elliot Lake as the venue for their summit meeting Sept. 30 tp Oct 2 later this year.
Rooms have been booked at the Hampton Inn, but many of the delegates would probably want to stay longer than just the meeting and do some hiking/sightseeing around our beautiful area. Particularly as it is at the height of foliage season.
Staying at the hotel is, as you know, fairly expensive and not all those visitors will have the wherewithall to afford it.
We have offered to canvass our membership and see if there are any of us who would be willing to billet some of the delgates for a few days. If you would be willing, please call Alan 8488766, or Phill 8488767.
