On Sat. 5th Feb., Jean-Guy took 12 of us on an adventure to the Lacnor Mine site. We started at the bottom of fire tower hill and snowshoed on beaver dams and the xc ski trail into the mine site. From there we walked to Dumbell Lake and the intention was to cross to the road at the narrows. Slush was encountered and plan B went into effect. We back-tracked and had lunch at the high point on the road to Sherriff Lake. From there we took a little used trail, trappers use it, to the cars. Thx to Pim for the pics.
