Cinder Lake

Eleven people, lead by Grant, went out on March 12 for an outing to Cinder Lake area. We ventured onto a causeway that divided the lake and made way to a lunch spot at the Serpent River at a small waterfall. Thx to Pim for the pics and commentary.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year.
