Fred & Maxine have graciously invited us all to a day at their cottage on Lake Huron North Channel near Thessalon on Saturday July 9th.
If you want to canoe or kayak, Fred suggests arriving about mid morning. He can loan you a vessel if you do not have your own. Bring your own life jacket and paddles if you have them.
Fred & Maxine will supply the hamburger and hot dogs for supper. If you want lunch, bring your own and also, if you are staying for supper, bring a potluck dish to compliment the meat.

Driving instructions:
Fred estimates 110 km from Elliot Lake to the cottage.
Take highway 17 west. You will pass Blind River, Iron Bridge and when you get to Sowerby start looking for a golf course (Livingstone Creek) on your left side. The 2nd left past this is Walker Rd. Turn left there and then left at the first interesction. Follow that road, now Walker Lane, east and then it will turn south until you sight cottages. Fred said he has put up a new sign. Their place is one of the first ones.
