In all we were 14 hikers who enjoyed the warmth from the fire, the hot dogs and hot chocolate and especially the sparkling conversation. We walked to the camp fire from the ski hill parking lot along the trail to Horne Lake Island. The full moon rose over the treetops making a sheen on the icy crust on the lake. On the way back we walked around the island in the moonlight and back to the trail to the ski hill parking lot. A great evening.
