I led 18 hikers on a new trail to McCabe Lake, not far from Popeye Lake & the cottage area off Stanrock Rd. We had a new hiker (Connie) join us. When we got to McCabe Lake, the area was occupied with campers who welcomed us to their campground. We had lunch on a hill overlooking. All the hikers thought the area was just beautiful; no one wanted to leave!
