Easy Hike, Quirke 1 Tailings, May 12

Shelly led 17 hikers along the Quirke 1 tailings ponds & dams sticking to the open areas only, away from the blackflies.  We are pleased to say that Shelly won the Battle of the Bugs!  It was a mix of sun & cloud with a slight breeze which helped keep the bugs away.


Connie would like to extend her sincere thanks to Shelley for making the call that she was too sore to finish the hike and making arrangements for her to be picked up.  Connie thanks all the hikers for their patience and understanding!
