Jean-Guy led a group of 22 people up a ridge at Quirke Lake off the end of Panel Mine Road to a spectacular lookout with fantastic views of the lake and Rooster Rock. After descending to the road, the group split with half going back to the top of the ridge for lunch and the other half following the road to a sunny spot on the rocks for their lunch. Either way provided a terrific "room with a view".
