Fred lead ten people on a hike to Cabin Lake, just north of the Mississagi Park. Our destination was a trapper's cabin on the far shore of Cabin Lake. It was bush trail all the way and there was evidence of long ago logging activity in the area as we came upon a stump covered in old axe heads and other hand made iron pieces, horse shoes, chain, bands etc. The cabin itself was in good shape and still being used and this provided us with lots of things to explore. I think I found out what happened to my old Ski doo! We had an early lunch at the cabin and then continued on the trail but turned back when the Mozzies got too blood thirsty. Very enjoyable hike.
