On June 26, a male reported to the E.R. at the hospital with six ticks on his person. He had also removed some from his dog. He had been hiking the Horne Lake trail. Note that not all ticks, usually wood or deer ticks, carry the Lyme disease nevertheless it would be prudent to check ones clothing and to take a shower after hiking.
