Sixteen hikers, led by Emily, hiked partway around Porridge Lake and then criss crossed the old dump site bordered by Esten North and Pearson Drive. Lots of signs of wildlife including a particularly odious species called "litteratus buggus". Even though this dump site was decommissioned years ago, it seems some just don't get the message. On a positive note, the stand of red pine planted some time ago by ELSS students is doing well!
