The plans to do repair work on the boardwalks in town have been put on hold. Apparently there is a conflict between City Management and the Unionized Workers as to who has jurisdiction to do this type of work, with us stuck in the middle; surprise, surprise.
Plan B is to clear the Bolen River Trail on the Northern boundary of Mississagi Park which runs from HWY 639 West to Wilkie Lake. This was a favorite trail in the past, but it has not seen much use for several years. We will meet the Junior Rangers behind the Pearson Centre at 9:15AM on the June 18th & June 20th for anyone who is interested in doing some trail clearing.
