Hike leaders Gerry and Nicki decided to postpone the Mt. Baldy hike to today owing to yesterday's miserable weather. Lucky thing too because today's conditions were perfect as a group of 11 hikers set out by boat from Laurentian Lodge, across Flack Lake, to Mt. Baldy. We made our way up (and I mean UP) the trail, to the top where we stopped for a nice long lunch and enjoyed the amazing view. About halfway down, we stopped again for a chance to enjoy our surroundings before making our way back to the boats. Tip of the day; always carry a pair of extra socks and a plastic bag. After slipping on the rocks while crossing the creek, I was very glad to have both so I could continue the hike! Please CLICK HERE for photos.
