Jean-Guy led 16 soon to be very fit hikers one way from the golf course to the ski hill via the Route 66 trail. Lots of windfall trees from the remaining winds of hurricane Sandy along the trail. Route 66 had its mark on an rock along the way. A warm November day made it enjoyable and a leisurely lunch on the causeway between Westner Lake and North Nordic Lake before continuing along Route 66 to meet up Westner trail.
