It was great to see so many of our club members at the public meeting at city hall on Nov. 13. This meeting was about the possible seasonal closure of the mine access roads. Many thanks to Phill Barnes who read a letter on behalf of our club to the city councillors and the mayor. There were other questions and statements from the Quirke Lake Senior Park and from the mine companies. We will see what the city decides.
