Marty and Astrid led a group of 11 hikers on a hike to Samreid Lake today. We parked along the highway and walked in along an old logging road, then headed into the bush following an ATV trail to the lake where we stopped for a bite to eat. On the return trip temperatures started to rise and the trees were becoming frosty from the fog. CLICK HERE for photos. Notable sightings included an overturned car in the pond just north of 108 on 639. Remember to slow down on icy roads folks!
