Twenty one eager hikers, led by Jean-Guy, were very happy to see the end of the cold snap as we came out of hibernation to snowshoe the "High Line" to Sherriff Lake. We parked along Milliken Road, and then along a trail to meet the ridge that goes around to Sheriff lake, then snowshoed across Sheriff Lake. The weather couldn't have been more perfect after a couple of bitterly cold days earlier in the week. There was a trail at the end of the lake that we wanted to explore, but we could only go in a few hundred feet and met up with some deadfall making us turn back. A sunny and warm spot on the shore of the lake was enjoyed by all for a lunch stop. CLICK HERE for photos.
