Once again we thank Grant and his merry band of helpers for the success of this year's Winterfest Snowshoe Hike. We had 55 people participate in our snowshoe hikes today. Our leaders and sweeps led participants from the ATV clubhouse to the campsite on Horne Lake island. There were 6 different hikes between 10 am and 2:30 pm. We are not sure how much hot chocolate or how many hotdogs were consumed but no one left the island hungry, thirsty or cold today. We even had impromptu entertainment from a small plane that put down on skis on Horne Lake south of us. Quite a show.
