The trails were alive with The Sound of Canada Geese Music on their flight back to the north. Diane and Shirley led 16 eager hikers along the Panel Mine Peninsula. Amidst the geese flying overhead, we saw a beaver swimming to his lodge. Swallows were emerging from their nesting houses. Diane had a picture of what this area looked like when the mines were in full operation. A leisurely lunch with a view of Rooster Rock and Denison House was enjoyed by all. PHOTOS
