Tuesday May 21st, General Meeting at 7 pm at the Snowbirds Clubhouse.
We will have information about ordering t-shirts with the 40th anniversary logo. Various colours and sizes available. We order through Kevin's Custom Clothing. There will be samples of the sizes and colours of t-shirts and the logo at the meeting. There will be a slide show of a trip to Stokely Creek Cross Country Ski Centre with information about a future trip. Hope to see you there. We already have lots of chips and cookies for our refreshment break. No need to bring more.
Highway Clean Up Friday, May 24. Show up at Sears Parking Lot for a 10 a.m. start Bring work gloves and bug spray. Treasure in the Trash Prize will be awarded!!!
Voyageur Trail Clearing Blitz. Many thanks to the group of intrepid Coureurs de Bois who spent 2 , 3 or even 5 days clearing the Voyageur Trail north of Thessalon this past week. We had our Long Weekend earlier than most Canadians. We cleared and marked approximately 20 km of trail. Another Trail clearing blitz is planned for August. A hike to this section might be planned this fall. Stay tuned.
