* Hiker Chicks Dinner *

This month's Hiker Chicks dinner will be held on Friday, July 19th, 5pm, at the Chicken Coope. Friday is buffet night. Please call Astrid at 578-2095 or email astridturner@eastlink.ca if you would like to attend.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year.
