A boisterous group of 20, led by Emily, made their way to the end of Panel Mine Road and hiked along the shore of Quirke Lake to Lower Rochester Falls. Most of us made good use of the bug juice as the tree canopy thickened obstructing the breeze which had helped keep the mozzies at bay. After a leisurely lunch, we made our way back to the cars and returned to town. Some of us then descended on McD's where we made sure that anyone snoozing over their burgers and fries woke up in a hurry. Welcome to new hikers Paulette and Ron, and welcome back Noah! PHOTOS
