Former hiking club member Pat Vincent died Monday evening. Funeral service will held on Wednesday, July 17 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic church. Lunch is to follow the service.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year.
