Ten hikers joined Marty and Astrid today for a hike along Porridge Lake. Parking on Brunet, we made our way along the trail to the Esten trailhead, then across the old landfill site past the hydro station to the skidoo trail. We followed a bush road back to the Porridge Lake trail and had lunch amidst towering hemlock and spruce trees. There was plenty of snow on the trail and the trees after last night's lengthy snowfall which was a challenge for the trailbreakers! PHOTOS
