* Attention Mt. McBean Fans *

Jean-Guy will be leading a hike on Tuesday, June 10 to Mt. McBean. Anyone wishing to go please meet in the parking lot by 10 am. Note that this hike is in ADDITION TO the regularly scheduled Tuesday Easy Hike.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year.
