A group of 10 hiked the blue trail down to Horne Lake where we enjoyed lunch with a water view. The company has installed a "Beaver Deceiver" at the outflow for the pond and removed the difficult stairs across the ravine, replacing them with a culvert and gravel path.
SNAKE ALERT, DARLA: We saw two large black water snakes on the path by
