The Coureur de Bois Hiking Club went to Mississagi Provincial Park on the Civic Holiday weekend to participate in Lumberjack Days. Some members camped for the full weekend with others joining in for the and Saturday and/or Sunday. Activities included volunteering at the pancake breakfast or traffic/crowd control, paddling the big canoe with the Algoma Paddlers, participating in various lumberjack events, hiking the Helenbar and Semiwite Creek Trails, swimming, and socializing at the campsites, event sites and the beach. The shuttle bus from Elliot Lake came in handy for those without a vehicle. PHOTOS
