This is a follow up to the initial contact from Lorraine Loranger who is planning to walk from Victoria B.C. to Ingonish N.S. next year. She is attempting to raise awareness for the housing problems of Inuit in Northern Quebec (Nunavik).

All my efforts are directed to let people know what the reality of the Inuit is. As you will read on the blog, the Inuit are working hard, but they have many obstacles with which they contend. Following the report of Reconciliation and Truth, I have been meeting mayors and decision-makers in different communities of my 8000 kilometer walk. You will be able to follow me on my walk as I cross Canada from Victoria, BC to the county of Victoria in Nova Scotia (Ingonish).
