What started out to be an undecided day to hike or not because of the threat of rain and thunderstorms turned out to be a beautiful day of fall colours as 12 of us led by Donna hiked into Mississagi park.
We parked outside the gate, made our way by roadway to the back of the park and ventured in the Helenbar Trail as far as the erratic landmark. Then we followed the shore of semi white lake and stopped for lunch at the amphitheatre. Some of the hikers went into a couple side trails off the semi white trail to view what were once log chutes from years ago. We then took the semi white trail back out to proceed to our cars. PHOTOS
