Trail Master Report
Ron T gave us up to date some of the trails that have been cleared, namely:
Helen Trail, Snowshoe Trail, Fred Post, High Rocks Trail, Route 66, Sheriff Creek trail, fire tower lookout trails
Approximately 2/3 of the trail around Semi White Lake has been cleared in Mississagi Park
Secretary-Treasurer Report
Donna reported all incoming and outgoing transactions and bank balance since the last meeting
Membership
is approximately 95
VTA newsletters are available for those wanting them
Donna reassured all members to be patient getting reply back from the Soo as to their new membership cards when renewing , a new treasurer has taken over and it may take time at their end.
Motion to approve the report by Marty T and seconded by Emily W, motion carried
We are still awaiting the report of the VTA meeting of October 17 held in Elliot Lake. After the meeting at the clubhouse a group went in the afternoon for a hike to Cougar Mountain.
Due to highway construction any Highway Cleanup we usually do will be cancelled till further notice
George H suggested that the two Combined Paddle-Hike days with Algoma Paddlers next year be divided between Elliot Lake for one and Blind River area for another
Ron T spoke of different groups involved with Shared Use of Trails Committee
Sheila H reported that the numbers look good for this years Christmas Party on December 3
She
also asked for any non-perishable foods to be donated for the Food
Bank
George H spoke highly and thanked Emily W for all the support she has done for our club
New Business
Chuck Z gave an update on the progress of the Cross Country Ski Club for the golf course
Trails
are cleared where needed, groomers have been arranged.

asked for any old ski poles to be kept for trail markers

George H and Ron T will be organizing the Winterfest Snowshoe Hike for March 5, 2016
A motion to have our club help with hotdogs and hot chocolate on Horne Island on March 6, 2016 for all the entrants for snowmobile rally was made by Nicki J and seconded by John V was approved by all
