Looking, and feeling more, like February 9 than April 9, eleven hikers joined Grant on a 6 kilometer loop hike over the Stanleigh TMA today. Under brilliant blue skies we set off up the hill, bundled up against the cold wind. Three kilometers in we left the relative ease of the gravel and took a right turn onto a snow covered mine road in the direction of Sherriff Lake. Luckily we found an out of the wind spot for a relaxing lunch before once again trudging through the snow on our way back to the cars. No cameras today so no photos :(
