Seven hikers braved the threatening skies and were rewarded with sunshine before we reached the beach. Ron and June must have some good connection with the weather channel or something.
After lunch on the beach Ron discovered a patch of pink lady slippers. We also saw a turtle sunning itself at the pond near the gravel pit. A cluster of about 7 yellow butterflies were feasting together by the side of the trail. Not totally sure what it was but it was tasty to them. A good day !!" PHOTOS
