On a promisingly beautiful morning 12 of us hiked off into the sun on the Denison property near Cinder Lake. The road was completely clear of snow and ice and, as expected, the heat began to build early and serious stripping took place. We had lunch on the rocks at the far end of the dam and had planned to descend and then do the tree- lined corridor across Stollery Lake. By then, the heat was zapping us fast and we decided to leave that for another day. Great hike, great people.
