Banana Lake 2018-02-13
11 hikers set out for Banana Lake. The first ‘interesting’ turn took us uphill, downhill, around, over and under trees until finally we made it to Banana Lake – the hard way. After a rather light lunch we set off again, but after skirting around a huge blow-down tree we saw white trail markers which were to take us back to our parked cars. WRONG!!! We were on a scenic tour which led us to Larry’s Trail, and a 3km road hike to where we started. The 10km bushwacking hike was enjoyed by all and we are ready to bore you with the exaggerated tale of being lost at Banana Lake PHOTOS courtesy Art & Carolyn
