A reminder to the ladies that this month's Hiker Chicks dinner will take place this coming Friday, July 20th at the golf course, 5 pm. Please call Rae at 848-2544 if you would like to attend.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year. Our members also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and cross country skiing.
