A hiking trio of Jean Guy ( lead), Shelley and myself ventured on a warm but breezy day along dam of Nordic Minesite and made our way up via some bushwhacking to the Rainbow ridge overlooking the golf course. Very little bugs but very warm in open areas. A lunch overlooking the golf course was welcome as it was a nice breeze. There was a variety of wild flowers along the dam section, purple fireweed was plentiful. PHOTOS
