Sleepy Hollow, 2019-06-03

Photos and commentary by Donna Condon:
Another great day of hiking for 14 of us led by Jean Guy to Sleepy Hollow ( quirke 1 tailings area).  A lot of us started out with mits and touques with the cold wind but we soon warmed up and a very few blackflies found us.  A carcass of a beaver was spotted and Chuck explained the theory of rock formation in one area along the way.  Lunch was in an open windy area which made it pleasant.  Of course Jean Guy ( haha) had us do a little short bushwack on an old trail which connected back to the snowmobile trail.  Then return to our cars.  We all had a fun day...thanks Jean Guy!
